The long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser MYDON offers three treatment options for aesthetic
dermatology: Vascular skin changes of all kinds are ideal indications for the
wavelength of 1,064 nm, including even endovascular treatments. In skin
rejuvenation mode, MYDON gently improves the whole complexion. The Nd:YAG laser
even offers a treatment solution for permanent hair removal on all skin types
(I-VI). You can change between applications merely by switching the treatment
spots.
Highly effective treatment of vessels with optimal
wavelength
MYDON is the specialist for treatment of all kind of vascular skin changes. Its
1,064 nm wavelength is highly absorbed by hemoglobin, allowing MYDON to treat
even deeper lying veins. Whether fine or thick, red or blue: spot sizes of 1.5
to 5 mm and variable penetration depth let you perfectly adapt MYDON to each
vascular indication. You can even remove varicose veins in endovascular
treatments. You only have to replace the handpiece with a sterile fiber.
Gentle and efficient: Burst Mode and integrated skin
cooling
In its special Burst Mode, MYDON splits up every laser pulse into several small
sub-pulses. The skin surface can cool down between the pulses and is thus
protected. Vessel or hair follicle are heated progressively and are effectively
destroyed. The clever skin cooling system is directly integrated into MYDON’s
handpiece. A combination of metal and glass applied directly to the skin cools
the skin before, during and after each laser pulse: The epidermis is protected
even at high energy levels. This improves the effectiveness of the treatment and
patient comfort and reduces the risk of side effects. The cooling sapphire glass
window additionally compresses bigger vessels. It can be easily removed when
treating fine vessels. |
